# Troubleshooting

### A required privilege is not held by the client

You’re trying to use the world symlink, but Windows requires additional setup for this feature by following these steps:

* `Win+R` run `secpol.msc`
* In `Security Settings > Local Policies > User Rights Assignment > Create symbolic links`
* Add your Windows account
* Log out and log in to the current session (or just reboot)


## Mods

### Why are only Forge/NeoForge working / No plugin folder created?

Run the Arclight jar directly, not from the generated `run.bat`/`run.sh`.  

If you’re using some server-hostings, change the compat mode to `vanilla` / `bukkit` / `spigot` instead `forge` / `neoforge` in your settings.


### MaxHealthFix caused a crash?

We don’t need the `MaxHealthFix` mod, remove it.


## Plugins

### WorldEdit: Editing on unsupported versions is disabled.

It is the `WorldEdit` internal check, you can disable it, use it at your own risk.

Add the following line to the `config.yml` of the `WorldEdit` plugin.

```javascript
allow-editing-on-unsupported-versions: "I accept that I will receive no support with this flag enabled."
```


### FastAsyncWorldEdit couldn’t be loaded?

No support yet. Use WorldEdit instead.


### The AuthMe (etc.) plugin blocks fake players from interacting.

Search for `unrestrictions` in the config file of your authentication plugin, add fake player names to the names of fake players in your mods. For example: `UnrestrictedName`, `[Mekanism]`.


### CoreProtect didn’t work fine?

This plugin is designed for vanilla servers; we recommend using **GriefLogger** instead.

### Residence couldn’t save the protected areas if not in the overworld?

Enable  `symlink-world` in the `compatibility` section of `arclight.conf`.
